Santa Barbara High held Edison without a goal on 11 power plays en route to an 11-2 girls water polo win in the first game of a doubleheader sweep by the Dons.
The Dons defeated Los Alamitos, 11-7, in the nightcap.
Santa Barbara notched 20 steals in the win over Edison, led by Jessie Brummett’s six thefts. She also had three assists. Lara Kostruba was the leading scorer with four goals. The Dons led 11-0 going into the fourth period
Six different Dons scored in the win over Los Alamitos. Kristina Garcia had three goals and Jessee Ransone scored twice and handed out five assists.
Santa Barbara is back in action Tuesday at home against Agoura.
