Five local girls tennis teams learned their CIF draws on Monday. Two of them, Channel League champion San Marcos and Tri-Valley League champion Cate, host first-round matches on Wednesday.

San Marcos (16-1) welcomes Santa Margarita to the Royals’ courts. The winner moves on to likely face Mira Costa, the No. 3-ranked team in Division 1.

CIF DIVISION 1 BRACKET || DIVISION 2 BRACKET

Santa Barbara High must travel for its first-round match. The Dons are at Marlborough, who finished second to Harvard-Westlake in the Mission League, on Wednesday.

Dos Pueblos is also hosting a playoff match. The third-place team from the Channel League is playing a wild-card match against South Pasadena on Tuesday for the chance to face the division’s No. 2 overall seed Corona del Mar on Wednesday.

In the Division 2 bracket, Cate (12-1) hosts a wild-card winner in the Rams’ first-round test. Fullerton and Trabuco Hills meet on Tuesday to decide who travels to Carpinteria.

Carpinteria will be active in Tuesday’s wild-card round. The Warriors, recent Division-5 champions in 2012 and 2013 now playing in Division 2, drew a road match at Crescenta Valley on Tuesday.
