Thirteen was a lucky number for Santa Barbara High’s girls water polo team on Friday as it scored 13 goals in a pair of wins at the Southern California Championships in Irvine.
The Dons beat Long Beach Poly 13-2 and followed up with a 13-4 win over Warren.
Kai McGeoy had 3 goals and Georgia Ransone had 2 as 6 Dons scored against Long Beach Poly. Santa Barbara led 6-0 after the first period.
Kristina Garcia had 4 goals and Lara kostruba had 2 in the win over Warren. Jessie Brummett had 4 assists and 4 steals.
