Chris Fedderson and Salvador Briceno combined to score 10 goals for the Warriors, who were led by first-year head coach Matt Organista in his coaching debut. Sophomore Forrest Van Stein also made a big impact on offense by drawing seven ejections.

Camarillo took a 4-2 lead after the first quarter but allowed Carpinteria to rally and take a 9-5 lead at halftime. It was 16-16 at the end of regulation.
