An 8-1 lead at the end of the first quarter ended up an 19-3 Channel League victory for Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
The No. 1 Dons won for the 17th straight game. The streak is on the line next in Thursday’s league finale at Dos Pueblos, as is an outright Channel League title.
Freshman Kristina Garcia scored four goals for the Dons and sophomore Sienna Goggia added three scores for the Dons. Freshman Jessie Brummett led the defensive effort with a team-high six steals.
