Caroline Montgomery scored five goals, leading Cate to a 13-8 win over Nordhoff in a Tri-Valley League girls water polo match on Saturday.
The Rams showed good balance in the win. Maddie Schrager (3 goals) provided scoring from the perimeter and Sophia Soriano (3 goals) was a force inside. Sophie Maes added two goals.
Cate (8-4, 6-3) plays Carpinteria on Wednesday.
