Vanessa Vega and the Carpinteria defense posted a 9-0 shutout over Oaks Christian on Thursday, giving the Warriors the Tri-Valley League win.
The Warriors have allowed just one goal in their past two TVL wins and have averaged less than three goals allowed in six Tri-Valley League games so far this season.
Carpinteria is 5-1 after Thursday’s win.
Vega recorded 12 saves defending the cage.
