Maddie Brooks recorded a team-high six goals for Carpinteria’s girls water polo team in Wednesday’s 16-2 Tri-Valley League victory over Villanova.
Six Warriors scored in the match, including goalie Vanessa Vega. Hope Grant and Maya Grant had three scores each.
Vega stopped nine shots in the cage.
Carpinteria (7-7, 2-1) takes a step away from league play on Thursday in a match with the Channel League’s Buena.
