Saturday is the third straight year Santa Barbara will host an international marathon, which winds through 26.2 miles of roads throughout Santa Barbara and Goleta.
There are a number of road closures that will affect local motorists from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The most notable closures include the eastbound lane of Modoc from Hollister to Las Positas, the southbound lane of Las Positas from Modoc to Cliff Drive, the eastbound lane of Cliff Drive from Las Positas to Oliver Road, Meigs Road and Shoreline Drive, and much of the area around SBCC’s La Playa Stadium.

The Santa Barbara Police Department will direct traffic and course monitors can assist any runners and/or residents.
