DP rolls to 5th straight league win

Dos Pueblos jumped out to 5-1 lead and rolled to a 12-6 win over San Marcos in a Channel League boys water polo match on Thursday at the Royals’ pool.

The Chargers’ defense controlled the match. The six goals are the most they allowed in a league match. Goalie Phillip Bates had 12 saves.

Blake Parrish poured in 4 goals in the third  period as DP expanded its lead to 10-2.

Dos Pueblos, ranked ninth in CIF Division 1, improved to 8-9 overall and 5-0 in league. San Marcos fell to 8-6 and 1-4.
