Four Warriors score twice in close loss to Camarillo

Alan Chavez, Thomas Fly, Ben O’Hara, and Dylan Hathaway all had two goals each for Carpinteria, but their effort was not enough and the Warriors lost at home to Camarillo 11-8.

Carpinteria was down by only one goal going into the fourth quarter, but two starters had majored out, and they were not able to push through and gain the lead.

“We missed some opportunities with some bad passing, but it’s still early in the season,” head coach Bryan Swarm said.

Goalie Jacob Pate recorded 10 saves and gave Camarillo trouble in one of his finest performances of the young season.

Carpinteria plays next this weekend at the Los Gatos tournament.
