Jerry Mahoney, 43, completed Tuesday night’s one-mile swim in 21 minutes, 21 seconds, beating his nearest Reef and Run competitor by over two minutes. Meanwhile, in the 4-mile run, 35-year-old Greg Husack ran a 26:01, also finishing over two minutes ahead of the pack.
Todd Walsh, 40, of Saratoga won the duathlon in 35:16 and Nicole Guyette, 27, of Santa Barbara was the top female at 42 minutes flat.
The top female finisher in the 4-mile run, 50-year-old Grace Twedt, clocked in at 28:40 and was second overall. Paula Waldman, 47, was the top female in the one-mile swim at 25:09.
There are two more Tuesdays of competition remaining in the Reef and Run series.
