Dos Pueblos’ Shoemaker and Ventura’s Mefford each led their teams to a share of this year’s league title. Both teams were stopped in the Division-I quarterfinals.
Each had a teammate on the Second Team. DP junior Kevin Cappon got the nod, as did the Cougars’ junior Josh Tice.
Four more represented the Channel League’s top-two teams on the All-CIF Third Team. Connor Cleary and Chase Racich came from Dos Pueblos and Clint Howard and Josh Fankhauser from Ventura.
Santa Barbara’s Brendan Kerwin-McElroy claimed a spot on the third team for taking the Dons to a third-place finish in league.
