Santa Barbara High lost to Mater Dei 8-6 but bounced back with a win over Villa Park Saturday to finish seventh in the North-South Challenge water polo tournament.
Goalie Hunter Ploch finished with a whopping 56 saves on the weekend for the Dons. Parker Peterson scored four goals against Mater Dei and Ken Myers tallied three assists with a goal.
Peterson added another two goals in the Villa Park match, as did Jeff Churchman and Lautauro Fesembeck.
The Dons face Ventura in a key Channel League matchup on Tuesday.
