Dos Pueblos wrestler Ryan Fidel won a championship for the second straight year at the Pete Duca Invitational on Saturday.

Fidel, a junior, captured the 126-pound weight class, helping the Chargers to a second-place finish in the team competition. He won the 106-pound title as a sophomore.

Dos Pueblos had four wrestlers take runner-up honors: Justin Moua (120 pounds), Aidan Yamasaki (132), Diego Lopez (182) and Joel Garcia (195). Other place finishers were Paul Sigurdson (3rd at 145), Nolan Sullivan (5th at 138) and Tommy Johnson (5th at 152)

This was DP’s first competition under co-coaches Chris Mollkoy and Marc Fidel. They replace Anthony Califano, who stepped down after 18 years at the helm.
