Freshman Abbi Hill scored three goals in her first high school game, but Dos Pueblos fell to second-ranked Foothill, 12-8, on Saturday in a non-league girls water poloclash.
Ryann Neushul added two goals and four drawn ejections. Thea Neushul, Olivia Kistler and Britni Tisdale scored once each. Chloe Pena recorded four saves and a blocked 5-meter penalty shot in her first high school start.
It was the season opener for Dos Pueblos, which is ranked No. 6 in CIF Division 1 while the Knights are No. 2.
Dos Pueblos plays again next Thursday at the Villa Park Tournament.
