Lompoc proved too strong for San Marcos on Wednesday in a 55-15 win for the Braves in the opening game of the Gold Coast Tournament.
Lompoc’s Danielle Morgan finished with a game-high 18 points and Rylee Sager had 14. San Marcos’ leading scorer was freshman Taylor Hantgin with six points.
The Royals (2-4) host Santa Maria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
