Bishop Diego debuted on Tuesday night in a 30-25 loss to Malibu.
Summer Soto and Sienna Gonzalez provided most of the Cardinals’ scoring with 14 and seven points respectively.
Bishop Diego, which is coming off a CIF Championship season, plays again on Monday at home versus Carpinteria.
“We had a rough night shooting the ball so we’ll get a couple practices in this week and hopefully come out with a better result on Monday,” said Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich.
