The Cate girls volleyball team maintained its undefeated record which is now 11-0, and clinched the Frontier League title in the process.
Behind the stellar offensive performance of Delaney Mayfield, the Rams cruised to an easy straight-set sweep over Foothill Tech on Thursday. The set scores were 25-14, 25-12, and 25-13.
Mayfield led the way with a game-high of 14 kills while Peyton Shelburne and Jillian Rogers tacked on 19, knocking down 10 and 9 respectively.
Cate has a big match against Dos Pueblos on Friday.
