Sawyer Rhodes scored the first five goals of the game for Santa Barbara High in a 15-7 non-league boys water polo win over visiting Esperanza on Saturday.
Rhodes finished with six goals, Chris Gaffney contributed four goals and Adam Gross dished out seven assists for the No. 3-ranked team in CIF Division 2.
Coach Mark Walsh praised the play of Connor O’keefe off the bench.
Santa Barbara travels to San Marcos for a first-place showdown in Channel League on Tuesday.
