GVB: Warriors fall short of Thacher in five set battle

The Carpinteria girls volleyball team gave the crowd a riveting battle against visiting Thacher, but was ultimately unable to give it anything to cheer about as they fell just short, 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 25-18, 14-16 on Tuesday.

The Warriors were led by Katie McGee with 22 assists and Miranda Marquez with a high 17 kills.

Carpinteria falls to 1-2 overall, 0-1 league and are set to travel to Santa Paula later in the week.
