GTen: Chargers take down Warriors with ease in home opener

The brutal heat didn’t pose a problem for the Dos Pueblos girls tennis team as they surpassed Carpinteria High in a 17-1 demolition on Tuesday at the Chargers tennis courts.

The Warriors were short handed but No.3 singles player Madison Cleek was able to take away the only set of the day from Nandini Braganza in a riveting tie breaker.

Saylor Yoos and Hannah Kleidermacher both went undefeated on the day, sweeping all three of their singles sets.

In the doubles department, Heather Cano paired up with KC Egger to win all three of their sets, dropping only 3 games in the process.
