Led by freshman Marie Kuschmann’s 49, Santa Barbara High defeated Buena by four strokes in the Channel League golf opener at Montecito Country Club on Thursday. The final score was 308-312.
The Dons fielded a lineup consisting of three freshmen and two juniors.
Santa Barbara is 1-0 and Buena is 0-4.
