While Dos Pueblos fell to Edison and Villa Park on Saturday on the final day of the South Coast Tournament, the Chargers return to Goleta with a pair of tournament wins against University and San Clemente.
The Chargers were defeated by Edison, 18-8, and Villa Park 14-11, a day after two victories against University and San Clemente.
Dylan Elliott scored 10 goals in a 17-13 win over University. Taylor Gustason was a force in the victory over San Clemente, a 13-12 decision. The senior scored five goals with three steals, five drawn ejections and a field block.
Other Dos Pueblos highlights included Patrick Sterling scoring his first varsity goal and goalie Ben Cable piling up 15 blocks in one game. Dylan Elliott led the team in scoring in another game on Saturday with six goals.
Dos Pueblos (3-7) begins Channel League play in its next game against Ventura on Thursday.
