Fifteen San Marcos High seniors plan to continue their athletic careers at four-year colleges.

The athletes will be attending colleges all over the country.

They include Kelsey Gellert (water polo) at Concordia-Irvine; Jenna Phreaner (water polo) at UC Irvine; Colin Welsh (football) at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.; Adilene Aldapa (cross country/track) at San Jose State; Megan Bergthold (swimming) at Wheaton College in Illinois; Emma Harrah (volleyball) at Westmont; Alex Zauner (swimming) at UC Santa Cruz; Sean Nakano West (baseball) at Cal Lutheran;

Emily Allen (volleyball) at UC Davis; Anika Wilson (sand volleyball) at Pepperdine; Nathan Coffey (football) at Humboldt State; Kelly Robertson (cross country) at UC Santa Cruz; Riley Heiduk (water polo) at UC San Diego; Jake Castanha (soccer) at Pacific University, Oregon and Walker Odell (cross country/track) at Babson in Massachusetts.
