Carpinteria’s Amanda Blair threw a no-hitter for Carpinteria on Monday.

 

Amanda Blair didn’t allow Bishop Diego to get a hit on Monday in Carpinteria’s 14-0 rivalry win over the Cardinals.

Blair struck out nine batters in seven innings and was helped by a defense that didn’t commit an error.

The Warriors’ offensive leaders were Arianna Macias who had two hits and two RBI. Teagan Singer collected two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

“We hit the ball well and was strong defensively. We are happy with our effort especially against your rival,” reported Warriors head coach Henry Gonzales.

Carpinteria (7-9, 1-1) returns to Tri-Valley League play on Tuesday at La Reina.
