San Marcos scored eight runs in the first two innings on Friday, paving the way to an 11-6 non-leagu win over Malibu.
Dylan Furuseth, Mason Metcalfe, Anthony Sanchez and Derek Zylstra all had two hits for the Royals. Blake Katsev made noise at the plate with a two-run triple.
David McCarthy was credited with the victory on the mound. McCarthy pitched five innings and struck out three.
San Marcos (4-4) hosts Dos Pueblos on Monday.
