Chad Visser’s one-over par 72 at Rancho San Marcos on Thursday led three other Royals with sub-80 scores in a 390-476 victory over Buena.
The result improves the Royals to 2-0 in the Channel League standings and 3-0 overall.
Visser has been 0n a tear for the Royals, leading the team in scoring in three straight matches.
Niels Anderson posted San Marcos’ second-lowest score at 74, followed by Chris Wong at 78. Bennett Reichard’s 79 and Andrew Rice’s 87 filled out the Royals’ round.
Buena was led by James Rodriguez’s 82.
