Dan Mercer, who led a young Carpinteria team to the Frontier League girls basketball title, was named the league’s coach of the year, and two Warriors were selected to all-league first team.
Carpinteria sophomores Victoria Kelley and Monique Sanchez were named to the all-league first team.
From Cate, senior Brittiany Newsome and junior Elan Halpern received first-team honors.
Senior Sierra Caudillo of Carpinteria and junior Mikaela Li of Cate earned second-team honors.
