The Carpinteria boys volleyball team maintained its undefeated record with a a gratifying road win over Fillmore in a straight set sweep — 25-13, 25–15, 25–17 — on Tuesday.
Mason Pierce led the team with 7 blocks and 11 kills. Victor Garcia put up a strong defensive performance, popping up 14 digs.
Jose Angels dished out 19 assists and Armando Soriano provided 4 kills and 8 digs.
The Warriors improve to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in league with the win and they will host Ventura on Wednesday.
