In their final match of the regular season, Dos Pueblos defeated Santa Barbara High 7-4 in a Channel League matchup on Thursday at Elings Aquatic Center.
Dos Pueblos scored three unanswered goals to break a 3-3 tie late in the fourth period. The Chargers finish second in league with a 6-2 record. Santa Barbara went 4-4 in league play.
Whitney Steidl and Jordan Williams each scored two goals and Thea Neushul, Ryann Neushul and Toni Shackelford had one each for DP. Goalie Petra Huebner had seven saves.
Santa Barbara’s goalkeeper Siena Goggia had another solid outing, finishing with 14 saves, including four on man-down situations.
DP and Santa Barbara will learn their CIF Division 1 playoff draws on Sunday.
