BBK: Miranda’s offense not enough for Carpinteria

Carpinteria’s boys basketball team fell short of Nordhoff in a 67-46 decision on Wednesday in a Tri-Valley League game.

Omar Miranda led the team with 12 points while Jonathan Cleek and Jax Montgomery combined to sink 17.

Nordhoff came out on top early with a 15-0 lead and never looked back.

“Nordhoff came out focused and ready to play and our guys had trouble matching their intensity,” said coach Johnny Ward.
