San Marcos junior Chloe Allen has been named to the All-CIF-Southern Section Division 1A girls volleyball team,
Allen, a UCSB commit, came on strong after an early season ankle injury and helped the Royals win a share of the Channel League title and reach the 1A quarterfinals. She played libero while she was injured.
Her season stats were 104 kills and a .260 hitting average, 132 digs and 15 service aces.
Also named to the All-CIF team was Ventura sophomore Sammy Slater.
Lindsey Ruddins of division champion Aliso Niguel was named Player of the Year.
