Sierra Garibay and Brenda Rodriguez scored four goals each in the season opener for Carpinteria’s girls water polo team, but the Warriors dropped a 12-10 non-league decision to Pacifica on Tuesday.
Maya Grant and Crystal Landeros completed the Warriors’ scoring with a goal each. Rodriguez added two assists and two drawn ejections.
The Warriors return to action on Thursday at Camarillo.
