San Marcos shut out Montebello in the second half in a 13-3 non-league girls water polo victory on Saturday at the Royals’ pool.
Brittany Prentice led the Royals with four goals and Paige Hauschild and Riley Heiduk added three apiece.
Coach Chuckie Roth praised the play of Lili Rose Akin, who “had a big presence offensively and created several scoring opportunities.”
San Marcos (8-1) will host its alumni game on Dec. 31 at 11 a.m.
