Santa Barbara High’s girls water polo team started its season on Friday against the No. 2 team in Division 1, falling to Foothill 11-3.
Kristina Garcia, Jessie Brummett and Jessee Ransone each scored a goal for Santa Barbara. Garcia added two assists to her stat line while Brummett was responsible for the other assist.
The Dons host a double header on Saturday, starting with Edison at 1 p.m. followed by a game against Los Alamitos at 4 p.m.
