Jessee Ransone scored in the final seconds of regulation to force overtime and Kai McGeoy delivered the game winner as Santa Barbara High defeated Agoura 7-6 in a non-league girls water polo match on Tuesday.
Down 6-5 on their final possession, Ransone took a pass from Jessie Brummett and scored with eight seconds left in the game. It was Brummett’s fourth assist of the game.
Kristina Garcia’s three goals and four steals led the team in those departments.
Dons head coach Mark Walsh lauded Santa Barbara’s defense, which didn’t allow a goal on Agoura’s final six power plays.
Santa Barbara (2-2) begins Channel League play on Thursday against Buena.
