Dos Pueblos dropped a 59-41 decision against St. Bonaventure at the Ventura Kiwanis boys basketball tournament on Saturday.
Jake Todey scored 19 points and Thomas Frank added 11 for the Seraphs, who opened up a 15-5 lead in the first quarter.
“We made a couple of runs at them but they were able to withstand them,” DP coach Joe Zamora said.
Nick Ditmeijer scored 10 points to lead the Chargers (2-8). Zamora said Elijah Sanchez made some contributions off the bench.
DP returns to the tournament on Monday at 11:30 a.m
