WVB: Westmont falls short of Biola

The Westmont women’s volleyball team was able to run away with one game against No.4 Biola but could not contain Amy Weststeyn as the Warriors were ousted in four sets, 19-25, 25-27, 25-23, and 18-25 on Tuesday.

Madison Serrano led the team on both sides of the ball with 12 kills and 18 digs. Kami Troesh worked with Serrano defensively and came up with 21 digs of her own. Taylor Beckam was the second leading outside hitter on the day, finishing with 11 digs.

Biola out-blocked the Warriors 12-8. Westmont falls to 16-3 overall and 7-6 in league with Biola improves to 25-4, 13-1.
