GVB: Wallace not enough, Bishop Diego falls short of Grace Brethren

Every game was a dog fight on Tuesday, but the Bishop Diego girls volleyball came up short against visiting Grace Brethren with the scores of 26-24, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20.

Morgan Wallace served as the catalyst for the Cardinals offense with eight kills, 10 aces and 17 digs. Francesca Engel sparked Bishop Diego in the third set and finished the match with seven kills.

Erin Linehan carried the Cardinals defensively with 21 digs while Nicole Horner added five kills and four blocks.

Bishop Diego will finish off the season on Tuesday at La Reina.
