Carpinteria and Nordhoff were about as even as could be in Thursday’s dual match at Montecito Country Club.
Both schools finished with equal scores of 313 counting five players. It turned out that the team’s sixth golfers were within one stroke of each other. Mikayla Blair’s 69 gave the Warriors the victory by edging a 70 by Nordhoff’s Madeline Bigger.
Juliet Parsons led the Warriors with a 59. Nordhoff’s Bailey Osborn led all scorers with a 53.
Carpinteria is 4-4 overall this season.
