Goalie Jack Palmer made 23 saves to lead San Marcos to a pair of wins at the Steve Pal Memorial Water Polo Tournament on Friday in Orange County.
Palmer made 11 saves in an 11-4 win over La Costa Canyon and he stopped 12 shots in a 13-8 victory against Buchanan of Fresno.
Jesse Morrison scored nine goals in the two wins.
The Royals improve to 16-7.
