The defense never rested for the Dos Pueblos boys water polo team on Thursday.
The Chargers held Ventura to two first-half goals and rolled to a 19-7 Channel League win, improving to 2-1 in league and 10-7 overall.
Dos Pueblos led 11-2 at halftime and went up 12-2 before coach Chris Parrish put in his reserves.
“We rotated in the reserves and still played good defense, holding them to five goals,” said Parrish.
Blake Parrish led the DP offense with nine goals, while Jake Griffin, Taylor Gustason and Quinn Peacock each added three goals. Kyle Krutenat played a stellar game in goal, making 14 saves.
