GVB: LeSage’s serving sparks Providence

Providence volleyball beat Dunn in three games. 25-15, 25-15, 25-23. Maddy Niessen was our kill leader with 7 kills. She also had 10 assists and 5 aces. Ozie LeSage had 5 kills and 9 aces.

Ozie LeSage served up nine aces and went on a 10-point serving run in the first set, sparking Providence to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-23 volleyball sweep over Dunn on Saturday in the Condor League opener.

LeSage had five kills and provided solid passing and digging in the back row, said coach Laura Newton.

Maddy Niessen led the Patriots’ attack with seven kills. She also added 10 assist and five aces.
Cody Niessen picked up six kills on nine swings with only one error. She also contributed 11 assists.

Providence is 3-2 overall.
