Renee Handley swept in singles and the doubles teams snagged 8-of-9 sets in San Marcos’ 13-5 victory over Laguna Blanca on Wednesday.
Handley won her sets 6-0, 6-2, 6-1. Julia Frohling went 2-1.
San Marcos starting doubles teams didn’t lose a set in the match. Olivia Sturman and Gaby Goldberg stayed in for three rounds, winning 6-0, 6-2, 6-1. Summer Bosse/Carley McDaniel and Josephine Pulver/Francesca Diamond went 2-0.
The non-league victory improved the Royals’ record to 4-5.
