GLF: Vaqueros place 2nd in WSC Meet No. 2

Saralisa Ortega shot 80 on a hot Monday at the Santa Barbara Golf Club, leading SBCC to a second-place finish in WSC No. 2.

The players battled temperatures that reached the low 90s. Canyons won their second straight WSC tourney with 326 strokes, followed by SBCC at 348 and Citrus at 368. Lexandra So of Citrus was the medalist at 3-over 75.

Ortega finished in fourth place. Sara Pettersson shot 87 for the Vaqueros and Tiffany Huang had a 90.
