San Marcos’ boys water polo team scored in double digits in its first two games of the Conejo Classic Tournament, winning both games over Notre Dame and Yucaipa.
The Royals topped Notre Dame 13-9 in their first game before battering Yucaipa 16-7.
Jesse Morrison was the team’s leading scorer in the two games totaling seven goals. Miles Cole added six more while Spencer Wood accounted for five scores. Against Yucaipa, the Royals had nine different players in the scoring column.
San Marcos continues tournament play on Saturday against Thousand Oaks.
