Santa Barbara High posted a pair of victories at the South Coast Tournament on Saturday as Sawyer Rhodes scored 13 goals in the two games.
The Dons defeated Los Alamitos 11-10 in their first game, followed by a 15-9 triumph over Capistrano Valley.
Henry Hepp recorded three goals in the first game and drew five ejections in the second match. Rhodes started with five goals against Los Al and then dropped seven goals and eight steals on Capo Valley. Chris Bartholomew and Chris Gaffney had four assists each.
Santa Barbara (12-6) won three of five matches over three days at the South Coast Invitational. The Dons host Ventura in Thursday’s league opener.
