On its second day at the South Coast Tournament, Santa Barbara’s boys water polo team split a pair of matches with Granite Hills and Villa Park.
The Dons started off by defeating Granite Hills 16-9. Henry Hepp led Santa Barbara with three goals as eight different Dons found the back of the net. Chris Bartholomew also chipped in for Santa Barbara with three assists.
In its next game, the Dons went on to lose 10-5 to Villa Park. Chris Gaffney had strong performance with a goal, two assists, and four steals. Sawyer Rhodes also tallied in two goals and four steals for the Dons.
Santa Barbara plays next against the loser of Tesoro versus Los Alamitos.
