Out-of-towners claim CBVA Masters titles

Teams from out of the area swept the three divisions at the California Beach Volleyball Association Masters Tournament at East Beach on Saturday.

In the women’s 37+ group, Kaili Kimura and Kelly Rowe of Thousand Oaks and Los Angeles, respectively, defeated the team of local player Jackie Campbell and Ilga Celmins in the final.

The men’s 37-44 division was won by Texans Colin Kaslow and Tim Wooliver. They defeated Alex Lynch and Nicolas Barron of Ventura in the final.

Greg Lyle of Encinitas and Joel Janc of Carlsbad topped the local team of Greg Novak and Mark Foreman in the Men’s 45+ division final.
